The Cursillos in Christianity Movement of the Algarve is a living expression of the Catholic Church, present in the Diocese of the Algarve since 1964. We are a community of lay people and clergy seeking to live and witness the essentials of the Christian faith in the real settings of daily life.

Inspired by the specific charism of the MCC, the Movement seeks to create paths of encounter with Christ and Christian growth. Faith is not confined to an isolated moment: it continues through friendship, community life and mission.
In the Algarve, MCC has contributed to the spiritual renewal of many people and to the vitality of different communities. In communion with the diocesan Church, it continues to serve with humility, joy and hope.
